We would like to introduce to you...

The Lord has been bringing many new faces to the ministry here in Ixtapaluca. Allow me to introduce them to you.

Tina Barham
After several failed attempts at her name (BUR um, BUR ham) I think I got it right now (BAR ham)... Tina joined us August 4, one of the team leaders who came down with 20 other people from Fremont Alliance Church, Tina's home church. Tina comes to us highly recommended by the Darrol and Kim Prusia, also CAM missionaries from Nebraska. Tina's primary responsibility will be coordinating all of the Tiempo de Vivir community center activities, no small task, believe me! And she will have the privilege of becoming integrated in the life of the church here. Her commitment is from 1-2 years. Great to have you here, Tina (and Maggie, her dog)!

Jessica Nixon
We first met Jessica at our vision-casting weekend in June. Her desire to be involved with the mural and her enthusiasm in interacting with the ministry here was encouraging. Jessica's current job (aside from being a mom to three college-aged kids) is design and photography. You can check out her website here: http://nixonnotes.com/ Jessica has begun to work on a website for the ministry here. We appreciate her work! Hopefully, sometime in the not-too-distance future, she can work with us on-site here in Ixtapaluca.

Lindsey Hearst
Lindsey is an MBI intern! All she needs to complete her requirements for graduation is her linguistics internship. She arrived her Sept. 7, and will be great in helping us teach ESL at the community center for the next 8 weeks. We have already appreciated her open attitude and sincere desire to serve God and others.
