Visitors

This Friday, Daniel and Lauren Menge join us for around 10 days. They are both Moody grads (yeah!) and Lauren is currently studying at Dallas Theological Seminary. Our summer internship is shaping up too, with three people confirmed to join us; one from Texas, one from Ohio and one from Iowa, along with Spanish bi-lingual guru and MK Melissa Roberts, and Tiffany Taylor, who is committing for 1 year, beginning with the internship program the end of May.

If you want somewhere to give your funds, send them to Tiffany. She still lacks around half of her support, and time is passing quickly. I'm sure she'll be coming...but your $ would be an encouragement.

In other news...David has been reeking terror in the house of late. He took all of his mother's shoes (and dad's too, but mostly mom's) out of our closet and put them in the bathroom, for no apparent reason. He dumped out the liquid clothing detergent and put it in an empty 2-liter soda bottle (why?), as well as used his brother's Red Rider bb-gun to shoot a cardboard box IN HIS ROOM! Needless to say, the gun was confiscated. Reminds me of something I did as a kid...

Also...yesterday we had a CAM Team meeting and decided...well, not a whole lot, but we ate well and prayed a bunch. Today I left the house at 5:35 a.m., walked, then took a van (public transportation), then a taxi to the airport, where I took a bus up to Queretaro, and got there at 11 a.m. for a 5 hour meeting, getting home again at 8:30 at night. Not fun. Not fun at all. Talking about FAMEX, our Mexican mission, and talked via Skype to missionaries in Turkey. That was cool.

Well, it's been forever since I've updated this blog, so I thought I should do so. This Sunday...big event in the previously flooded area, trying to reach out, and gauge response. Please pray.
