Due to a misunderstanding in the requirements of passengers traveling through the U.S., we initially thought that Samuel and Lius did not need a visa because they were not leaving the airport. We were wrong.
Please pray that Samuel and Luis would be able to get at the minimum a C-1 visa enabling them to travel through the U.S. to Spain.
Apparently American Airlines has a policy where at least one leg of the trip has to go through the U.S. (a policy that frankly seems absurd). So we are unable to change the flights to avoid flying through the U.S. A visa seems to be the only real answer...but visas are NOT easy to get here.
So we ask for your prayers... The only other option is to cancel the current tickets, which are non-refundable, and buy equally expensive tickets from Mexico City to Madrid...not a pleasant option either.
