The Allems. Too Cool.

There are some friends that are always right there for you...even if you haven't seen them for a long time. It was great to spend time with Jeff and Kim and their kids, now relocated near where I grew up, in Downingtown, PA. The Lord has worked in some special ways, and Jeff is now senior pastor of a dynamic church in Chester County, west of Philadelphia. But the kids didn't care a whole lot about big churches...they were much more interested in finding toads and swimming.

Jeff, Jessie and Austin have moved past being kids and are now just plain cool. They just are. Move over Third Day. Watch out U2. Read more about them on their soon-to-be-published website. They are writing songs with the help of their dad and putting together some pretty sweet melodies. I couldn't understand them all, but they were sweet. Their first international tour...Mexico soon.

So good to be with them. I managed to come out 5-4 out of 9 games in quoites with Jeff...although momentum was not on my side!
