“No Reserves, No Retreats, No Regrets”

I received an email from Paul Johnson, or Professor Johnson to his students at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. Paul heads up Corban's Intercultural Studies department.  We had the privilege of receiving two different Corban teams in Ixtapaluca.  In 2011, Paul accompanied the team.  I worked closely with Paul during his stint as Field Director here in Mexico nearly 10 years ago now.  It was good to see him again!

Samuel has helped Paul design logos and large banners the last several years.  For the last two years, Samuel and I have represented our mission at Moody Bible Institute, and part of our luggage for the trip was a banner or two, that we shipped from Chicago to Oregon upon arrival.  This year, Paul has asked Samuel to help out again with some graphic design.

Paul picks great themes for his conferences!  Last year's was "They Turned the World Upside Down," from a verse in Acts about the impact of the early church.  This year's theme...No Reserves, No Retreats, No Regrets!, based on the life of William Borden (if it's Borden, it's gotta be good...yes, that same family!).
