Laughing and Football

This morning I took Matt and Laura Steele back to the airport after a great week with them.  The Steeles stayed with Martín and Laura over this past week, and were involved in ministry both with Sendero 1 as well as Sendero 2.   I think Mayra and Laura spent most of their time together laughing.  On the picture below, they are together on the roof of the National Cathedral during a quick tour of downtown Mexico City this past Thursday.

After dropping off the Steeles, I returned home, tried to sleep a bit, and then took the boys to a football game at a pretty nice field fairly close to the TAPO bus terminal.  David had some significant game time today, and made a nice tackle.  His team lost when a long pass was almost intercepted and deflected into the hands of the opposing team for a completion.  Oh well!  He's quite the player!  See if you can find him in the bottom picture.

Quote of the Day: If you think you have authority because the system grants you position, you have not yet tasted true power. True power cannot be contained by programs, organizations, or human systems. It is found in God's own voice and presence.
