Hmm...two things that wouldn't make my top 10 list...but necessary and even important. A few months back we bought a red Attitude (Hyundai) and it needs a new timing belt (preventative maintenance) and an oil change, etc... The van needs a new back door handle (its 4th!), and an AC fan motor replaced.
On the meeting side of things, this afternoon I drive to the Puebla Bible Seminary for a 5-10 p.m. meeting, continuing our ongoing shift to policy governance (fully understanding it) and discussing how to more effectively do theological education in a world that is changing exponentially.
Update on the community center...still no final word. Looks very positive, please keep praying.
Quote of the day: The death of Jesus of Nazareth as the king of the Jews, the bearer of Israel’s destiny, the fulfillment of God’s promises to his people of old, is either the most stupid, senseless waste and misunderstanding the world has ever seen, or it is the fulcrum around which world history turns.
Christianity is based on the belief that it was and is the latter.
