Hernan Cortez's house, circa 1550

I've included a couple more short videos from our Veracruz trip, these two of Hernan Cortez's house, which dates back to the mid 1500s.

Huge trees have grown around some of the still standing walls, and some of the original blue internal paint can still be seen on one section of the wall.

Elias, our host and guide, also showed us the tree where Hernan tied his ships, and the first Catholic church constructed in the Americas, which I mentioned in a previous blog.

I will probably be taking this year's summer interns to Veracruz for a week or so, to help Elias in ministering to several rural areas around Veracruz...fun, fun, fun!

If you can't see the videos via FB, go directly to the blog, at www.ixtapalucafryed.blogspot.com.
