Fellowship Conference report

It's been a while since I've posted an entry. Reason: our annual CAMEX Fellowship Conference, this year in beautiful Fortin de las Flores Veracruz.

Our conference speaker was Randy Pelton, pastor of Calvary Bible Church in Mt.Joy, PA, a church that my wife and I were involved with a missions conference several years back, where we first met the Peltons. Calvary Bible is sort of a sister church to our home church, Word of Life Chapel.

Randy did a great job. When he started he seemed a bit nervous, but once he got rolling, his New England sense of humor kept us all on our toes.

Today...well, back in the saddle, with Christmas drama rehearsals in the morning, church remodeling details and English class in the afternoon and prayer meeting tonight.

Our newest confirmation for our Christmas activities...another band confirmed for our "Battle of the Bands" Christmas block party, in front of the church. So...we'll have bands led by a Columbian, a Mexican and of course the group from Troy, MI. Pray for that time especially...Friday, December 19, from 6 p.m. to midnight.
