Daniel on the drums for the first time

I forgot to mention that Daniel played the drums for 1 song for the first time this past Sunday. He did really well. He actually played them in practice and I didn't even realize immediately that it was him...he did really well! Always good to see progress in the lives of your kids. After trying to get him excited about the guitar, and not succeeding very well...we're glad he seems to have found his instrument. He also began piano lessons last Thursday...we'll see how that goes.

The pictures below are courtesy of Crystal, she took them this past Monday when we went to a mini-zoo. The rabbits were fun...a highlight, sort of, of the day.

Oh, my van. Surprise, surprise, the garage I took the van to at 10 a.m. yesterday morning called at around 7:30 last night, and told me they couldn't purge the brake lines, couldn't find a hydraulic pump for the brakes, etc...and could I pick it up today at 11. It's 12 noon now, and guess what...still no phone call. Hope to get it repaired soon.
