House Hunting

Jim and Shari Cottrill were here this past Friday looking at houses. Shari, who had not seen the houses previously, was able to view both of them. The second one would be ideal...but whoever remodeled it did some very strange things...took out a bathroom and made it into a walk-in closet, put a jacuzzi in, but without a suitable access...and other strange adaptations.

The first house, however, looks pretty good. It is a 2-bedroom house modified into a 4 bedroom, with 2 1/2 baths. Pray for the Cottrills...the owner is asking just shy of $500, which is a decent price, but we hope to get it for a bit less.

In other news...I preached today and it went well. I asked Samuel to share a testimony about his mother, who passed away about 6 months ago. Him mother was quite the committed Christian, who took the gospel to some small towns in Michoacan, a state in western Mexico. We gave the mothers all a bunch of flowers, and the kids made their moms a pillow in Sunday School class. It was a great morning.

We're just finishing eating some half-done BBQ chicken...Brigam doesn't know how to make chicken, I'm sorry. Plus it started raining, and we were running low on gas...
