Day 2--You and the Church conference

It's been a great day so far here in Puebla, at the Torre Fuerte Bible Church, the 50th Anniversary Celebration/Missions Conference combo event. Samuel, Luis and Laura all gave workshops today, and plenary speaker Ike Rhu is doing a great job.

In a couple of hours, Mayra comes along with Laura (Martin's wife), Aurora (Sam's wife) and Tania (Miguel's wife) for a formal dinner, complete with the presence of the Coro Unido, a 100+ voice choir directed by CAM missionary Terry Vanderwerf.

It's also been great to renew friendships with Dan and Sue Wicher, Jack and Julie O'Brien and other people I haven't seen in a while. A special treat...I met John Miller today, an older brother who ministered in northern Mexico on horseback some 50 years go. I wrote about him in a Bible Church history published several years back, but had never met him.

Did I mention...Samuel and his family got their visas on Wednesay...very good news!
