Light up the Night

Samuel has been working on a number of graphics for the Michigan team's time here. They arrive this Saturday. The Lighthouse Collective logo was...well...minimalistic. Samuel spruced it up a bit.

Yesterday was a huge day. Samuel and I bought 47 t-shirts, 26 of which are for the team and leadership here. The rest we'll sell to the team or the church. Also confirmed the set-up of a stage/platform plus crowd control trusses and a number of other details. Yesterday also Samuel finished the poster. We're getting 1000 posters printed, which will be then pasted on telephone poles and put all over this area to promote next Friday's concert.

None of this is cheap of course, and if it wouldn't be for a 30% increase in the strength of the dollar, there's no way we could do much of this.

At a meeting on Tuesday with mall administrators I was informed that our Sunday concert at the mall was moved back, from 4:30-6:30 to 7-9 p.m. This is good and bad. Good, because the mall will be packed later one. Bad, because people tend to go long...and we're at the end of a long program, which may mean we only get started at 8 or 8:30.

We REALLY NEED your prayers for multiple events over the next two weeks.
