In about 20 minutes we all leave for the church...wedding starts at 1 p.m. Last night's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner was fun...during the second run-through at the rehearsal all the guys donned horrendously blue choir robes complete with sash (Charles had a white one) to relax everyone a bit.
Then the rehearsal dinner at Oscars Steak House. I had prime rib, Mayra ordered the smoked salmon, which she proudly pronounced without the "l". The reception is back here at the DoubleTree Inn, where most of us are staying. We basically get back and then take a shuttle service to the airport. Our flight leaves at 5:15 p.m. to Chicago, then to Frankfurt, then to Madrid, at which point if we are still able to function we'll take the metro to the hotel and meet up with the rest of our group.
We talked to our kids yesterday on the phone, they seem to be doing well.
We are very priviliged to be part of Charles and Rikki's wedding, and it has been great getting to know family on both sides.

Rod & Mayra,
Rick & I would like to thank you so much for coming to Arkansas to perform the the ceremony for Rikki & Charles.
You made their day special because of the special place you and your precious family hold in their hearts.
We received many compliments on the service. You gave insight on how Rikki and Charles came
together which some were unaware.
I'm sorry we didn't find more time to visit with you but hope to have the opportunity to know you better in the future.
Blessings,
Rick & Tosh Pearson
This is the Rikki I actually know! How fun to read that she is married! Please send her my congratulations. Don't forget to post pictures!
