Who is this Man?

Online e-books and e-readers like Kindles and Nooks have changed the way in which we read, and most off all have made access to great literature instantaneous.  A book purchase is just one click away.  Wow!

I was clicking a bit yesterday, and purchased books that I've wanted for a while, as well as new material that I bought on the basis of past writings.  Here's a list of my clicks:

Who is the Man?: The Unpredictable Impact of the Inescapable Jesus, by John Ortberg
Subversive Spirituality, by Eugene Petersen
The Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness, by Timothy Keller
Sunday's Best, a collection of sermons in book form (Francis Chan, Joseph Stowell, Mark Dever, others)
A Radical Idea: Unleashing the People of God for the Purpose of God, by David Platt

John Ortberg's book Who is this Man? has been an awesome read, proclaiming many aspects of the impact of the person of Christ that you have thought about probably before, but never studied or analyzed.  The impact of the life of Christ has been both formative and transforming (but certainly not conformist).  And not only in the context of comparative religion, but in so many other areas of life.  Wow.

In other news...the wheelchairs we've been handing out here, well, looks like they were doing the same in the state of Sonora.  The links are in Spanish.  Curious thing, though, is that the state government was handing them out as part of an official governmental program.  Oh, they apparently, initially anyway, forgot to mention that the chairs were acquired FOR FREE (except for importation costs).  Oops.  Click HERE, HERE and HERE.  Thanks, Alan, for the info.
